Jake Lorenson

Estimator

Jake Lorenson embarked on his journey in the construction realm as a young boy, working alongside his father and immersing himself in the world of renovations. This foundational experience stoked a passion that he carried through to his college years and beyond. A proud alumnus of Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, Jake pairs his educational background with hands-on expertise to offer insightful roofing recommendations. At the core of his philosophy lies a commitment to his customers: he only ever recommends solutions he’d opt for in his own home. This level of integrity is reflected in his keen ability to identify potential problem areas, sometimes even before a leak appears. The aim? To ensure the longevity and durability of a roof.

As an Estimator, Jake is often the first point of contact for clients facing roofing challenges. From initial roof inspections to diagnosing leaks, he meticulously prepares proposals that detail both repairs and replacement needs. Once a proposal is greenlit, Jake seamlessly sets up the job, ensuring that all materials are in place. His ultimate professional goal is clear: to perpetuate and elevate the company’s standing as the Valley’s trusted reroofing experts.

But who is Jake beyond his professional prowess? A man who cherishes the art of transformation. Since childhood, he’s relished the hands-on approach of construction, recognizing the unique chance it offers to rejuvenate and revive. The allure of turning the old into new, of preserving the best while replacing the worn-out, is what drew him into this industry. When offered the Estimator position in 2017 by his father-in-law, Eric, Jake saw an opportunity to blend family values with his passion while ensuring homes remain a sanctuary against Arizona’s extreme weather.

Outside the office, Jake’s penchant for restoration finds a different outlet: vintage Airstreams. He takes pride in reviving these classic travel trailers, with his oldest project dating back to 1948. Personal time is often spent with his family, including his wife, their two children, a pair of Goldendoodles, and a lively flock of 18 chickens. Their shared love for adventure is evident in their camping trips in their restored Airstream. Active members of their local church, the Lorensons are firmly rooted in their community.

Perhaps a testament to Jake’s affable nature and memorable work experiences, there’s a light-hearted tale he often shares: during one of his routine roof inspections, mischievous pet monkeys managed to lock him and the homeowner on a balcony in the blistering 115-degree Arizona heat. Ten minutes of playful negotiation later, the cheeky primates finally granted them access indoors. It’s an inspection Jake fondly remembers as the “best ever.”
